Nila Mensah

Life is full of challenges and hardship; it would be a pleasure to journey with you toward a meaningful and purpose-driven life. Clients who start therapy with me will find themselves entering into a warm and safe environment where they feel respected, valued, and heard.

I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist bringing in 9 years of experience providing counselling to individuals, couples, and families. I have experience helping clients manage a wide spectrum of concerns including depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting struggles, ADHD, grief, eating disorder, diet changes, lifestyle changes and other life stressors.

My counselling style is compassionate and person-centered. I believe that one of the most important indicators of success in therapy is building a strong and trusting relationship with your counsellor.

My goal is to provide you with a safe space and guidance to explore how your patterns of behaviour, past trauma, and experiences have formed the person you are today. We will work together to explore past patterns, build healthy coping strategies, and strengthen resilience.

I use multiple approaches depending on your needs and often includes collaborative problem solving, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and solution-focused techniques.
